Feb 16th,
2006: Latham Marine
debuts the new 7" Extension
Box at the 2006 Miami Boat
Show. As some sport boats with
stepped hulls perform better with
the 7" setback, this box is
specifically designed to allow the
7" setback with built-in steering
for any Bravo® Drive model:
Bravo One®, Bravo X®, Bravo
XR®. Installation is very easy
as there is no modification required
to the engine coupler or the stock
drive. Thru-exhaust is also available.

Feb 16th,
2006:
Latham Marine
debuts the exclusive 10"
Spacer for the Mercury Verado®
250 & 275 outboard motors
at the 2006 Miami Boat Show.
This unit is installed between the
motor 'mid section' and the lower
gear case, lowering the propeller
by 5" without the need to double
stack 5" stock spacers. This
allows the motor clamp bracket to
be installed higher than normal
which is desirable for some boat
manufacturers as it decreases any
back splash on the power heads.
The spacer is furnished with an
extended drive shaft, mounting studs
and nuts along with extensions for
the water pickup tube, shifter shaft
and 'speedo tube'.

Feb 16th,
2006: Latham Marine
debuts the new 9" and 15"
Sea Strainers at the 2006
Miami Boat Show. These strainers
are designed so as to allow higher
flows as well as more debris holding
capacity than standard sized Sea
Strainers. This is very desirable
with today's performance boats with
higher horsepower motors requiring
additional cooling. The 9"
strainers can be furnished with
#20 & #24 JIC Flare ports for
direct hookup to the water hoses
without need for adapter fittings.
The 15" can be furnished with
#32, #24 or #20 JIC Flare ports
or a combination thereof. Both strainers
include screw-on lids with site
holes for easy checking and cleaning.

Feb 16th,
2006: Latham Marine
debuts the new 1-1/2" and
2" 'V-Scoop' Water Pickups
at the 2006 Miami Boat Show.
These water pickups are designed
specifically for stepped hulls and
allows maximum water intake with
minimal air notorious with aerated
sterns on the stepped hull design.
This innovative design permits height
adjustment and includes a 316 stainless

compliment to the Latham Marine
9" and 15" Sea Strainers
with the higher flow capacities.
